Job summary

Bellway plc is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Southern Counties Division in Redhill. The role focuses on managing the commercial aspects of developments, controlling budgets and valuations, and liaising with the sales team on costs.

You will report to the Commercial Manager, produce draft budgets, monitor costs, and ensure targets are met while coordinating with on-site teams and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor or Surveyor with a residential house builder.
• Strong communication and listening skills, with good negotiation skills.
• Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.

Responsibilities

• Produce draft budgets and valuations for multiple sites.
• Manage sub-contractor payments and final accounts.
• Prepare sub-contract orders and ensure authorisation and documentation.
• Attend meetings and contribute to project reviews with management and contractors.
