Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Weston-super-Mare for a Residential Property Solicitor/ Conveyancer. This individual will play a crucial role in our Conveyancing team, ensuring that clients receive expert legal advice and support throughout the buying, selling, or leasing process.

This role is based in our Weston-super-Mare office; however, a hybrid working pattern would be considered for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The salary for this position is dependent on experience and will start from £35,000 per annum.

Duties

• Provide expert legal advice on residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
• Negotiate terms and conditions on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Manage compliance requirements in line with our CQS accreditation.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and property searches to identify potential issues.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Keep clients informed throughout the process, ensuring they understand each stage of their transaction.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations to provide the best possible service.

Requirements

• Qualified S olicitor, C I LEX or Licensed Conveyancer with a valid practising certificate.
• Proven experience in residential property is essential.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in using legal software and technology for case management.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
