A highly respected and long-established law firm in Surrey is seeking an experienced Residential Property Senior Associate to join its well-regarded team in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, commercially aware lawyer to take a senior role within a collaborative, high-performing property department.

The Department

The Role
The successful candidate will:

  • Handle a full range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, leasehold and freehold transactions, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages
  • Lead on complex matters, supervise junior team members, and contribute to team profitability
  • Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships, including developing a personal following
  • Collaborate across departments in line with the wider business development strategy
  • Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach in line with the firm's values

Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor or legal executive (ideally 6+ years PQE)
  • Strong academic background with LPC/SQE/PSC or equivalent

  • High level of technical competence in residential property law
  • Ability to manage own caseload independently and supervise junior staff
  • Proven track record of achieving fee targets and contributing to business development
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to client service excellence
