Job summary

Menter a Busnes is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a varied residential portfolio from a Peterborough base. You will be the main client contact, coordinating landlords, tenants and contractors while managing budgets and compliance with property regulations.

The role emphasizes proactive portfolio improvement and strong stakeholder relationships. You will lead lettings processes, rent reviews and maintenance planning, ensuring high standards across the team and continuous client

Qualifications

• Experience in residential property, estate management or rural property management.
• Strong knowledge of lettings, tenancy management, inspections and contractor management.
• Confident managing client relationships with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, rental income and arrears.
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and improving property performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties and ensure estates are managed efficiently and in line with regulations.
• Build strong relationships with landowners, tenants, contractors and stakeholders as the main point of contact.
• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate repair programmes with contractors.
• Take ownership of tenancy and letting matters, sourcing quotations and negotiating rent reviews.
• Manage property budgets, expenditure and cashflow, monitor rental income and address arrears.
