Job summary

Farming Jobs Limited is seeking a Property Manager (up to Associate Director level) to handle a varied residential portfolio across a Peterborough patch. You will act as the main contact for clients, tenants and contractors, ensuring properties are well managed and compliant while driving portfolio performance.

You will oversee lettings, rent reviews, budgets and inspections, with the opportunity to contribute to business development and client pitches. A Right to Work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• ARLA/AssocRICS/MRICS qualifications required.
• Experience in residential property, estate management or rural property management.
• Strong knowledge of lettings, tenancy management, inspections, repairs and contractor management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with clients.
• Commercial awareness in budgets, rental income, expenditure and arrears.
• Organised and able to manage multiple properties and contractor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties with professional management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, tenants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate repairs with contractors.
• Own tenancy and letting processes: sourcing quotations, rental market advice and rent reviews.
• Manage budgets, expenditure and cash flow; monitor rental income and arrears.
• Support business development: proposals, pitches and client portfolio growth.
• Keep clients informed on legislation, regulations and industry changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio performance and efficiency.
• Provide guidance to colleagues to maintain standards across the team.
