Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. This role requires prior residential conveyancing experience and a proactive, confident approach to develop within a growing property team.

You'll support fee earners across a varied caseload, handling sales and purchases, freehold/leasehold matters, and post-completion work while developing your knowledge of the conveyancing process.

Residential Property Paralegal

Location: Eastwood, Nottinghamshire

Salary: Up to £29,000

Working Pattern: Office-based

An established law firm with a strong local presence is looking to add a Residential Property Paralegal to its growing property team.

This would suit someone with previous residential conveyancing experience who is proactive, confident and keen to build their career within property. You'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge, take on increasing responsibility and progress within an established team.

The Role

Working alongside experienced residential property fee earners, you'll provide support across a varied caseload while developing your own understanding of the conveyancing process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting fee earners with residential sales and purchases
• Assisting with freehold and leasehold matters
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
• Raising and responding to enquiries
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Assisting with searches, exchange and completion
• Keeping files up to date and ensuring matters progress efficiently
• Carrying out post-completion and Land Registry work
• Providing general support across the residential property team
