Job summary

Worth Recruiting – Property Industry Recruitment in Reading is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a residential lettings portfolio. You will manage day‑to‑day operations, coordinate maintenance, ensure compliance and build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.

The role requires previous residential property management experience, a solid understanding of lettings legislation, and a professional, customer‑facing approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential property management.
• Good understanding of lettings legislation and procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Professional and personable customer service.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
• Handling maintenance issues and coordinating repairs with contractors
• Ensuring all safety certificates and compliance requirements are up to date
• Serving notices, including Section 8 and Section 21 where required
• Liaising with landlords and tenants to resolve queries and issues
• Conducting property inspections and reporting findings
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
• Working to deadlines within a busy environment
