We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and client-focussed Residential Property Lawyer to join our successful team in Cambridge.

Our Residential Property team provides legal advice on a wide range of non-contentious, residential property matters including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary first registrations, and lease extensions.

They work closely as a team, sharing work and knowledge to meet our high standards.

We pride ourselves on excellent service, offering bespoke advice and attention to detail. Getting to know our clients and understanding their specific needs is central to our approach. Each transaction is supported by a dedicated lawyer and support assistant, ensuring efficient handling from start to finish. Our manageable workload levels allow us to complete most transactions faster than the national average.

We operate electronically, and remote working is possible and sometimes encouraged, though we request your presence in the office at least 3 days a week, considering team and client needs.

What we need you to do:

1. Advise on various issues within Residential Property transactional work.
2. Commit to delivering high levels of client service.
3. Contribute positively and energetically to a dynamic team.
4. Maintain and develop knowledge of Residential Property issues, collaborating with colleagues.
5. Identify and develop referral opportunities, participating in business development.

About You

• Ideally a 2+ PQE Solicitor, CILEX lawyer, or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Solid grounding in residential property.
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent technical and drafting skills.
• Relationship building and teamwork skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Proactive, ambitious, organized, with keen attention to detail.
