Job summary

Claibon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Development Manager for a large residential block at Pontoon Dock, London E16. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a Concierge team and manage cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure first-class service for residents.

The role requires hands-on facilities management, with plant room inspections, HVAC and electrical checks, contractor oversight, and health & safety compliance. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential Property/Estate management.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• NEBOSH accreditation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the development and residents interactions.
• Lead Concierge team and manage cleaning and maintenance staff.
• Conduct plant room inspections and HVAC/electrical checks; supervise reactive maintenance.
• Oversee contractors during repairs and service visits.
• Regular site inspections for fire, alarm, and health and safety, with documented evidence.
• Monitor KPIs/SLA, report findings, and manage service charge expenditure.
