Stone King LLP is seeking a skilled Solicitor, Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join our Real Estate team in Bath. You will deliver high-quality advice on residential property matters while supporting clients through key milestones.

Based in Bath, the role offers hybrid working and opportunities to work across private client, charity and education teams within a nationally recognised practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive with experience managing residential property caseload.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law.
• Experience handling transactions from exchange to completion.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently.
• Experience supervising or mentoring colleagues.
• Established client following preferred but not essential.
• Experience across a broad range of residential property transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters including sales and purchases.
• Draft and review contracts and transaction-related paperwork.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties to progress transactions.
• Conduct legal research and stay up to date with property law developments.
• Negotiate and resolve conveyancing issues.
• Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Collaborate with Real Estate team and wider firm colleagues.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities to support clients further.
• Participate in marketing and business development activities.
