Job summary

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is recruiting a Residential Practitioner within the Children and Young People’s Services directorate. The post focuses on caring for looked after children in a new model of small homes, aiming to step children down to family-based care where possible.

Residential Practitioner post in the Children and Young People's Services directorate of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. The work centres on caring for looked after children in a new model of small homes that aim to step children down to family-based care where possible. Shift work, including senior cover on weekends and evenings, is central to the role, and training covers Signs of Safety and Restorative Practice. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
