Job summary

ITS Building People is seeking an experienced Painter/Decorator for a residential project in Horsham, West Sussex. The role is temporary with a 7:30 AM-4:30 PM schedule and a salary of £20-£21 per hour. Start date is 21/09/2026, and own transport is preferred.

Responsibilities include surface preparation, applying finishes, snagging, and advising clients on colour schemes. CSCS Card and own tools are required; the candidate should be able to perform physical labour.

Qualifications

• Experience Decorator required.
• Valid CSCS Card essential.
• Bring Your Own Tools required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & treat surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling before applying finishes.
• Apply paint, wallpaper, & decorative finishes to interior & exterior surfaces.
• Carry out snagging & touch-up work.
• Protect surrounding areas with coverings and ensure a clean, safe workspace.
• Advise clients on colour schemes, materials, & decoration techniques.
