Optima Site Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Assistant Site Manager for a residential development in Bideford, Devon. You will support the Site Manager, coordinate subcontractors, monitor build progress and ensure safety, quality and timely handover of plots.

Experience in new-build housing and strong organisation, communication and team coordination skills are essential. This contract-to-perm role offers exposure to a busy development with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Formación

• Experience as Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor on new-build residential projects.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to health and safety, quality and problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Site Manager with daily site operations and planning.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades across build stages.
• Monitor progress against programme and flag delays.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure drawings/specifications are met.
• Organise labour, materials and deliveries to maintain workflow.
• Support site inductions and health and safety checks.
• Maintain site records and report progress to Site Manager.
• Oversee snagging and de-snagging for handover readiness.
• Liaise with sales and customer care to support a smooth customer experience.
