Job summary

JT Recruit Ltd. is seeking a Multi skilled carpenter to carry out carpentry installations, repairs and maintenance to residential housing stock across Redditch.

You will handle 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, door and window repairs, and general maintenance tasks on void and occupied properties. Applicants should have carpentry qualifications, at least 2 years’ experience, good knowledge of materials and tools, strong customer service, and be willing to work across a variety of trades such as tiling

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience with a minimum of 2 years in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, principles and equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Competent in additional trades such as tiling, floor tiling or plumbing, where required.
• Relevant carpentry qualifications and certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry works and repairs and maintenance to residential and void properties.
• 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works including repair/replacement of components.
• Repair and maintain wooden and UPVC doors and windows and lock changes etc
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of professionalism at all times
• Work on various general maintenance tasks as required
