Job summary

The Nelson Trust in Brimscombe, Stroud, is seeking a part-time Medication Assistant to support safe medication management across four residential houses. You will work with the Medication Lead to ensure accurate records and help service users access healthcare when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication management and healthcare settings.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Ability to liaise with GPs and pharmacies to ensure timely prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medication management across four houses.
• Receive, check, book in, store, administer and return medications.
• Carry out medication audits and maintain high quality records.
• Liaise with GPs, pharmacies and healthcare professionals for prescriptions.
• Coordinate medical appointments and related transport for service users.
• Support use of electronic MAR (eMAR) systems.
