Job summary

The Nelson Trust is seeking a Weekend Support Worker for Residential Services (Women's Service) in Brimscombe, Stroud. The role is 16 hours per week, 8am to 4:30pm, with alternate weekends on a fixed rota.

The successful candidate will support the safety, wellbeing and recovery journey of clients during weekends and contribute to a high-quality client experience. We offer auto-enrolment pension (6% employer contribution) and a pro rata salary starting from £23,500 per annum.

As a Weekend Support Worker, you will be instrumental in our mission to empower individuals on their path to recovery. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety, support, and wellbeing of our clients during weekends. In this role, you will engage with clients, providing them with the support and motivation they need to navigate their recovery journey. Additionally, you will coordinate weekend activities, oversee client visits, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective coverage and support.

You will play a vital role in continuing the treatment program for our clients, and the right candidate will be approachable, supportive and responsive.
