Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person to keep premises and grounds in excellent condition. You will perform routine checks, carry out repairs and coordinate with engineers as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the home.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, a solid grasp of health and safety, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. You will work independently within a tight-knit team to support residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in the use of computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing programs.
• Ability to manage budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
• D1 driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain premises and grounds to a high standard.
• Perform regular checks and carry out repairs.
• Contact engineers or service agents when needed.
• Conduct fire, basic electrical and appliance checks.
• Work as part of a friendly, close-knit team to support residents.
