Job summary

Hill Care Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Person to perform day-to-day maintenance across the building, services, and grounds of a care home. The role supports a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate will have DIY skills, decorating ability, driving experience, and a proactive, flexible attitude to meet the service goals and comply with safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Commitment to a service, which provides support to vulnerable individuals
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Decorating skills
• Basic DIY skills
• Experience of driving
• Proven ability to complete day to day repairs and maintenance to a safe & high standard
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the DBS List
• Self-motivation and flexibility
• Commitment to the aims & objectives of the service and of Hill Care Ltd

Responsibilities

• Carry out day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services and grounds
• Ensure the Care Home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order
