Residential Management Group's Osterna division is seeking an experienced Residential Fire Risk Assessor to join a proactive safety team covering Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will be homebased when not undertaking site visits, with up to 10 site visits weekly, and national travel may be required.

The role focuses on assessing residential housing including high-rise buildings, reporting findings to Property Managers and Directors, and ensuring common areas remain safe.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and NEBOSH National General Certificate.
• Experience conducting fire risk assessments in residential properties, including high-rise.
• Knowledge of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and local guidance.
• Accurate report writing with attention to detail.
• LaCORS experience (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Carry out inspections of residential properties including high-rise, blocks and sheltered housing.
• Write up reports with findings for Property Managers and Directors.
• Support repairs and procedures to ensure common areas are safe.
• Travel across Birmingham and surrounding areas; site visits up to 10 per week.
• Home-based when not visiting sites; manage report writing from home.
