Job summary

Moxie People are hiring an Electrician to join a social housing provider’s responsive repairs team. You will work mainly in occupied properties, performing day-to-day repairs, fault finding, and testing to get homes back to a safe, working condition quickly.

You’ll perform inspection, testing, and certification, handle emergency repairs, and contribute to a high standard of health and safety while delivering great customer service in residents' homes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 regulations.
• Experience working within domestic properties.
• Able to work independently and make decisions on site.
• Personable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Responsive electrical repairs across occupied homes.
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Consumer unit replacements and remedial works.
• Inspection, testing and certification.
