Job summary

Moxie People is hiring an Electrician for a responsive repairs role, primarily working in occupied homes. You will perform fault finding, inspections and testing, and remedial works to ensure safety and quick repairs for residents.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, independent decision-making on site, and the ability to work across multiple homes with out-of-hours support when required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification)
• Strong knowledge of current BS7671 regulations
• Experience working within domestic properties
• AM2 or AM2e

Responsibilities

• Responsive electrical repairs across occupied homes
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
• Consumer unit replacements and remedial works
• Inspection, testing and certification
• Emergency and urgent repairs
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Delivering excellent customer service in residents' homes
• Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota
