Job summary

Moxie People is seeking an Electrician for responsive repairs in social housing, primarily working in occupied homes to perform day-to-day repairs, fault finding, and essential safety work. The role emphasizes delivering quick, quality repairs with a customer-focused approach.

You will handle fault finding, consumer unit replacements, and certifications, while adhering to safety standards and contributing to a reliable out-of-hours rota.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification).
• Strong knowledge of current BS7671 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsive electrical repairs across occupied homes.
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Consumer unit replacements and remedial works.
• Inspection, testing and certification.
• Emergency and urgent repairs.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
• Delivering excellent customer service in residents' homes.
• Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
