Job summary

Randstad UK CPE Reading Team is seeking an experienced Dumper Operator for a busy residential housing site in Wallingford. This is a temporary contract covering on-site earthworks and material movement on a live development.

The role requires safe operation of dumpers up to 9t, a full UK driving licence, and hands-on groundworks knowledge. You will work 7:30-16:30 with paid hours, adhering to site health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• 1-3 years' experience on UK residential housing sites with groundworks knowledge.
• PPE (hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots, gloves) provided or required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of forward-tipping dumpers (6t-9t) across a residential site.
• Transporting earth, aggregates, spoil and materials to muckaway or storage areas.
• Assist groundworkers with footings, drainage, levelling, slab/curb prep when not operating the machine.
• Carry out pre-use daily inspection checks and follow site health & safety guidelines.
