As a Residential Dementia Care Manager, you will care for our residents as if they were members of your own family, recognising their individual needs and preferences. You will deliver person-centred care to ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality, while leading and inspiring a team of dedicated carers and senior carers.
You will ensure the highest standard of care in line with current evidence-based practice, Porthaven's policies, CQC standards, regulations, and legislation. Additional responsibilities include completing care audits, trend analysis, and staff supervisions.
Cheerful, caring, and compassionate, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to shifts. Passionate about care and positively impacting older people's lives.
You will have completed NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or Health and Social Care, with experience in person-centred care planning and knowledge of dementia care. Previous senior care experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The successful candidate must provide satisfactory references, pass a DBS check, and be authorized to work in the UK.
