Job summary

Nationwide Recruitment Service & HR Careers is assisting a Midlands-based law firm in Coventry by recruiting a Residential Property Solicitor to handle own caseload from instruction to completion. You will manage freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, advise clients, draft contracts, transfer deeds, stay compliant with SRA rules, and build relationships for new business.

Qualifications

• Experience handling residential property matters.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and practice.
• Familiarity with CQS.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload: freehold/leasehold sales & purchases, shared ownership, remortgages, new builds
• Advise clients clearly and confidently in person, by phone and in writing
• Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds and key legal documents
• Keep files organised, compliant and professionally maintained
• Handle enquiries, quotes and diary management efficiently
• Build strong client relationships and support new business
• Stay updated with legal developments and SRA requirements
