Job summary

Chapter Law is seeking a Residential Conveyancer (Property Solicitor) to handle end-to-end residential sales, purchases and re-mortgages from start to finish.

Based in Birmingham/Bromsgrove with remote flexibility, the role offers a salary of £40,000–£50,000, a genuinely managed caseload, structured onboarding and post-completion support to focus on quality legal work. A real work‑life balance is emphasised.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ PQE managing your own conveyancing caseload.
• Experience across freehold, leasehold, new build, and shared ownership.
• Experience using Leap CRM is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential sales, purchases and re-mortgages from start to finish.
• Investigate title issues, legal risks and fraud checks.
• Keep clients, agents, lenders and solicitors fully informed.
• Oversee completions and secure fund transfers.
• Coordinate with post-completion team on registrations and file closures.
• Assist with stamp duty submissions.
• Support junior team members when required.
