Job summary

Henderson Scott in Greater Manchester is seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join a busy Residential Property team. You will handle a varied caseload from instruction to completion, providing expert legal advice and delivering excellent client service throughout the transaction process.

The successful candidate will manage residential conveyancing matters, including freehold/leasehold transactions, remortgages, and equity transfers, within a collaborative environment that offers long-term career

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Experience handling residential conveyancing transactions.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Able to manage a busy caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception to completion.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advising on remortgages, transfers of equity, new build purchases, and shared ownership transactions.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third-party solicitors.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and supporting legal documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and lender panel obligations.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records.
• Delivering excellent client care and contributing to the continued success of the team.
