Job summary

G2 Legal in Plymouth is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to run your own caseload and support the Head of Department with supervising and developing other team members. The role covers a broad range of residential conveyancing matters and requires strong client relationships and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience in residential conveyancing is required.
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Knowledge of freehold/leasehold transactions and remortgages.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Assist Head of Department with supervising and mentoring.
• Collaborate with in-house support team for onboarding and post-completion tasks.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, estate agents, and property professionals.

Your Role

As a Residential Conveyancer, you will:

• Handle a broad range of property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
• Assist the Head of Department with supervising & mentoring
• Work closely with the in-house support team - for onboarding, post-completion, and business support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other property professionals

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
• At least 4 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
• Strong knowledge of property transactions, title reviews, and leasehold matters.
• Candidates based in Plymouth or with strong local connections are welcome to apply, as are those looking to relocate
