Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to support the Conveyancing Solicitors on a range of residential transactions in Farnham/Wokingham. You will open files, prepare contract packs, draft COTs, conduct searches and handle SDLT/AP1 submissions, liaising with clients and third parties as needed.

You will work in a busy, client-focused team with opportunities to develop conveyancing skills in a supportive environment and modern offices in the area.

Responsibilities

• Open new files and ensure regulatory and internal procedures are followed
• Prepare and issue draft contract packs to purchasers' solicitors
• Assist with post-exchange administration and completion preparation
• Draft and submit Certificates of Title (COTs)
• Carry out final searches prior to completion
• Prepare and submit SDLT returns and AP1 applications to HM Land Registry
• Deal with Land Registry requisitions promptly and accurately
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties as required
