Job summary

Catering Farnham seeks an experienced Senior Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing to join its busy conveyancing team in Farnham. You will support fee earners on a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters and handle file opening, client updates, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced office.

The ideal candidate has previous paralegal or legal assistant experience in residential conveyancing, strong organisation, attention to detail, and excellent client care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Paralegal / Legal Assistant within Residential Conveyancing is essential
• Good working knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures
• Experience with Tikit Partner for Windows would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent client care skills with enthusiasm to deliver a great client service
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage your own time, prioritise and multi-task effectively
• Comfortable with modern IT systems
• A true team player with a professional and confidential approach

Responsibilities

• Full range of administrative and paralegal support including opening files and ensuring compliance
• Managing and responding to calls and providing updates to clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Drafting contract packs and preparing Completion Statements (COTs)
• Dealing with post-exchange administration
• Carrying out final searches, lodging SDLT returns and AP1s
• Dealing with Land Registry requisitions
• Audio and copy typing, dictation and diary management
