Job summary

TSR Legal is expanding its residential conveyancing team with a permanent, full-time Associate role based in Penarth, Wales. The successful candidate will manage their own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, serving clients with clear updates and a focus on efficient, high-quality service.

Applicants should have at least three years’ experience and hold a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent qualification, with a proactive approach to business development

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience in residential conveyancing.
• Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or equivalent experience as a Conveyancer.
• Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a client-focused approach.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent standards of work.
• A proactive approach to business development and building professional relationships.
• The ambition to contribute to the growth of a new office and a developing team.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
• Providing clients with regular updates on the progress of their transactions, associated costs and any issues that arise.
• Ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care and service delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and professional contacts.
• Supporting business development initiatives to generate new instructions and contribute to departmental growth.
• Identifying opportunities to develop the team's workload, improve billing and strengthen the firm's reputation.
• Contributing to the continued development and success of the wider conveyancing department.
