TSR Legal in Cardiff seeks a Senior Associate / Legal Director to lead its residential conveyancing team. You will support the Conveyancing Partner, manage a busy caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions, and drive the department's growth with a strategic mindset.

The role combines high-level client service with team leadership, mentoring, and involvement in recruitment and business development to shape the firm’s long-term success.

TSR Legal is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity with a well established and growing law firm based in Cardiff. The firm is seeking at Senior Associate / Legal Director level to join its expanding residential property team, working closely with and supporting the Conveyancing Partner as part of its continued growth strategy.

This appointment can be made at senior level for the right individual and represents a genuine leadership opportunity within the firm. It will suit an experienced residential conveyancer who is looking to take on a strategic role, contribute to the direction of the department and play a key part in the firm’s long term success.

You will be responsible for managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post completion, including both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases. You should be confident handling a small caseload of approximately 50/ 60 files while maintaining excellent standards of client care and ensuring transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.

Alongside your fee earning responsibilities, you will oversee and develop the conveyancing team. This will include supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and support staff, leading on recruitment and hiring, supporting business development initiatives and helping to shape the structure and future growth of the department. For those joining at senior level, there will be broader involvement in strategic planning and firm wide decision making.
