Job summary

Our client in Diss is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their busy Property team. You will manage a varied conveyancing caseload, handling freehold and leasehold transactions, transfers of equity, remortgages and new build files, while providing clear, practical legal advice throughout the transaction.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer.
• Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of both freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters.
• Proactive and commercially minded approach.
• Experience using case management systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Transfers of equity.
• Remortgages.
• New build transactions.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
• Providing clear, practical legal advice throughout the transaction.
• Managing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance.
• Supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service.
