Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join the busy Property team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The role offers hybrid working and genuine career progression within a modern, growing law firm.

You will manage a residential conveyancing caseload, handling sales/purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages and new build transactions, while providing clear legal guidance and maintaining high client care standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer
• Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong knowledge of both freehold and leasehold transactions
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters
• Proactive and commercially minded approach
• Experience using case management systems would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Oversee transfers of equity and remortgages.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice throughout transactions.

My client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their busy Property team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Transfers of equity
• Remortgages
• New build transactions
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Providing clear, practical legal advice throughout the transaction
• Managing matters from instruction through to completion
• Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
• Supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service

Requirements
