Job summary

MTrec Commercial is representing a well-established law client in their search for an experienced Conveyancer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis in Bishop Auckland.

You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload, with ongoing professional development, career progression, and the opportunity to develop wider property expertise within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX)
• Previous experience handling residential conveyancing matters
• Good understanding of AML compliance and risk management
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
• Proactive, professional and positive approach to work

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential property caseload from instruction through to completion
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and equity release
• Drafting loan agreements and legal charges, residential leases and renewals
• Handling transfers of equity, gifts, and auction property transactions
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and third parties; ensure timely progress and compliant file management
