Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Executive or Chartered Legal Executive for Bristol or Reading in Hybrid working. Salary is in the £40ks, with duties covering plot sales and residental conveyancing for major housebuilders and developers.

You will manage your own caseload, liaise with developers, purchasers, solicitors and stakeholders to keep transactions moving efficiently and on schedule in a supportive team.

Residential Conveyancer / Conveyancing Executive / Chartered Legal Executive

Bristol or Reading (Hybrid working)

Salary: Early to mid £40ks

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Executive or Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly regarded Real Estate team in Bristol or Reading.

This role sits within a specialist Plots team acting for some of the UK's leading housebuilders and residential developers. It offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload of plot sales and new-build conveyancing matters for major national clients, within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, handling all aspects of plot sales work and liaising closely with developers, purchasers, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in residential conveyancing or plot sales conveyancing and be confident managing files with minimal supervision. Experience investigating title would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates should possess:

• Experience handling their own residential conveyancing or plot sales caseload
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
• Experience working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Good IT skills and experience using case management systems
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of the residential property market

Hybrid working is available, with employees typically spending 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
