Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to manage own caseload in a Southam-based team. You will handle sale and purchase matters from instruction to completion, with autonomy and support from an established property team.

Applicants should have 2+ years' experience in residential conveyancing, handling freehold and leasehold transactions, and possess strong client care and organisational skills. Hybrid working and a generous benefits package are on offer.

Residential Conveyancer / Conveyancing Executive

Southam | Full-Time | Up to £45,000

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for a role where you can take ownership of your caseload, build strong client relationships and work as part of an established property team?

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established and highly regarded legal firm, based in Southam.

You’ll manage a busy caseload of residential sales and purchases from initial instruction through to completion, working with a high degree of autonomy while having the support of an experienced team around you.

This would suit a Residential Conveyancer or Conveyancing Executive with 2+ years' experience who is confident handling both freehold and leasehold transactions.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing your own matters throughout the conveyancing process, including:

• Managing sale and purchase matters from instruction through to completion and archiving.
• Handling both freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Taking instructions and providing clear, practical advice to clients.
• Preparing and reviewing file documentation.
• Managing billing and obtaining monies due.
• Building strong client relationships and contributing to repeat and referral business.
• Providing delegated supervision where required.
• Keeping your technical knowledge and skills up to date.
• Ensuring files are managed accurately and efficiently in line with firm procedures.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar residential conveyancing role.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing.
• Experience handling freehold and leasehold transactions.
• The ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to work independently.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A genuine team-focused approach.
