Job summary

Clayton Legal in Stourbridge is seeking a fast-paced Residential Conveyancer to hit the ground running and take ownership of a busy caseload from instruction through to post-completion. You will handle Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new-builds, transfers of equity, and shared ownership in a commercially focused team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years' experience managing high-volume residential matters, a relevant qualification (Solicitor, CILEX, or CLC), and strong client care,

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience managing a high-volume residential caseload.
• A qualification such as Solicitor, CILEX or CLC, or strong equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to independently manage your own caseload.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working to targets.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Experience working with case management systems.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Experience dealing with estate agents and other professional introducers.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload from instruction through to post-completion.
• Handle Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases; New-build transactions.
• Transfers of equity, Right to Buy, shared ownership,Lease extensions.
• Conduct title checks and raise/respond to enquiries.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, advisers and estate agents.
• Build relationships with introducers and develop new business.
• Work towards agreed fee income targets.
• Manage matters efficiently through to completion.

Looking for a fast-paced residential conveyancing role where you can hit the ground running, take ownership of your caseload and have plenty of opportunity to develop?

The Role

You'll manage your own caseload from instruction through to post-completion, including:

• New-build transactions
• Transfers of equity
• Right to Buy
• Shared ownership

• Building relationships with introducers and developing new business
• Working towards agreed fee income targets

About You
