Job summary

Clayton Legal in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to manage your own caseload from instruction to completion within a supportive property team.

You will handle sales, purchases and remortgages while maintaining excellent client care, strong attention to detail and proactive case progression. You will liaise with clients and third parties, ensure deadlines are met, and develop expertise across residential property transactions.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
• Handling sales, purchases, remortgages and other residential property transactions
• Managing client relationships and providing clear, regular updates
• Drafting, reviewing and progressing contracts and legal documentation
• Raising and responding to enquiries
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other third parties
• Progressing transactions proactively and ensuring key deadlines are met

• Ensuring files are maintained accurately and in accordance with internal procedures
• Providing a high level of client service throughout the conveyancing process

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

The Opportunity

An established and growing legal practice is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its property team.

This role would suit a confident conveyancer who is comfortable running their own caseload but also values having experienced support and supervision available when required.

You will take responsibility for managing your own residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, while working as part of a supportive team focused on delivering a high-quality service to clients.
