Henderson Scott is recruiting a Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer in Salisbury. The role covers a broad residential property caseload with hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office) and flexible hours.

They seek candidates with 2+ PQE or equivalent and a track record handling conveyancing matters. The successful candidate will manage transactions from instruction to completion, liaise with clients, agents and lenders, and ensure compliance with AML and lender requirements.

A growing regional law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its expanding team in Salisbury.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm focused on building a modern, client-focused conveyancing department. You'll manage a varied residential property caseload within a supportive environment, with reasonable caseloads, excellent administrative support and flexible working arrangements.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages and transfers of equity
• Reviewing titles and investigating potential issues
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and property documentation
• Conducting searches, raising enquiries and handling Land Registry applications
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
• Advising clients throughout the transaction and managing expectations
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, AML procedures and lender requirementsMaintaining accurate case management records and progressing matters efficiently
• Supporting business development and client retention

About You

The firm is keen to hear from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and Legal Executives with residential conveyancing experience.

You will ideally have:

• Experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
• Strong knowledge of property law and Land Registry procedures
• An understanding of mortgage lender requirements
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client care
• Experience using conveyancing case management systems, ideally LEAP
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple transactions effectively

Candidates with 2+ PQE or equivalent experience are encouraged to apply, although the firm is open to considering applicants at other levels.
