Job summary

Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor/Fee Earner to join its award-winning team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves managing a residential conveyancing caseload, delivering high standards of client care, and working with clients, agents and lenders to progress transactions from instruction to completion.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' residential conveyancing experience and may be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or FCILEx with residential conveyancing experience.
• At least 5 years' residential conveyancing experience.
• Experience working in a busy, client-focused conveyancing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage own residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients, estate agents, lenders and colleagues.
• Ensure high standards of file management and quality control.
• Support a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Resolve issues proactively with sound commercial judgement.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client experience.
• Provide guidance to assistants and colleagues as required.

Position: Full time, permanent role

My client, a long-established and growing law firm with a strong presence across Merseyside, North Cheshire, and the surrounding areas, is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor/Fee Earner to join their award-winning Conveyancing team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and committed conveyancer to join a firm known for its client-focused approach, strong reputation, and supportive working culture. The role will initially be fully office-based, moving to a hybrid working arrangement following successful completion of probation.

The successful candidate will manage their own residential conveyancing caseload while delivering high standards of client care within a busy and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with clients, estate agents, lenders, and colleagues to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

The firm is keen to speak with qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, or FCILEx professionals with at least 5 years' residential conveyancing experience. Part-qualified candidates actively working towards qualification will also be considered.
