Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Residential Conveyancer with at least 1 year PQE to join a fast-paced property team. You will manage a varied caseload covering freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity, ensuring high-quality client care.

The successful candidate will work both independently and as part of a team, meet tight deadlines, and contribute to a supportive and developmental working environment with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
• Experience handling freehold/leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to handle volume with client care.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume, varied caseload of residential property instructions (sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages).
• Meet tight deadlines while delivering high standards of client care.
• Assist in supervising the team in the absence of the Head of Department.
• Work independently and as part of a team with strong communication and IT skills.

Job description

This full time Residential Conveyancer position in Nottinghamshire suits a legal professional with at least one year of post-qualification experience.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload covering freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to handle volume alongside client care are essential.

Salary ranges from £35,000 to £55,000 depending on experience. Residential Conveyancer, 1+ PQE, Nottinghamshire, £35,000 to £55,000 (DOE).

RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCER/ILEX:

• Managing a high-volume and varied caseload of good quality residential property instructions to include sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages of both registered and unregistered land.
• Meeting multiple tight deadlines, and delivering a consistently high standard of client care.
• Helping to manage the team in the absence of the Head of Department.
• You will need + years' experience within residential property, be self-motivated and highly organised, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team, strong communication and IT skills.
• Previous supervisory or management experience would be advantageous.
