An established Lexcel and C.Q.S Accredited High Street Practice, offering quality legal services specialising in all areas of law to individuals and organisations, with offices in Lincoln and Sleaford, are seeking are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to join our dynamic and friendly team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating property transactions, ensuring that all legal processes are followed accurately and efficiently. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent IT proficiency, and exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

The successful candidate will be based in our Lincoln Office and will have a full varied caseload of sales, purchases, freehold and leasehold residential properties, new build, remortgages and transfers of equity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion.
• Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.
• Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations throughout the transaction process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each case in a timely manner.
• Provide advice to clients on legal matters related to property transactions.
• Organise meetings with clients to discuss progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer or in a similar role within the property sector.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing processes, including case management software.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Strong organisational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• A relevant qualification in law or conveyancing is preferred but not essential for candidates with significant experience in the field.
