PA Housing is seeking a Domestic Assistant (Cleaner) to support residents by keeping living spaces clean, comfortable, and safe. The role involves a mix of cleaning tasks, stock replenishment, and basic maintenance reporting within a on-site setting at NG17 4JL.

You will join a collaborative team, gain exposure to a diverse range of duties, and contribute to a well-maintained living environment for residents. DBS check is required, and involvement in the Disability Confident scheme is noted.

Responsabilités

• Daily cleaning tasks including damp dusting, high dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and changing beds.
• Restocking supplies: toilet rolls and towels; send laundry to be cleaned.
• Report maintenance issues to line manager for action.
• Assist with moving furniture following health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure fire doors are closed and rooms are locked after cleaning.
• Manage laundry counting and ensure equipment is in good working condition; report faults.
• Assist with window cleaning, light bulb checks, litter picking, and keeping corridors/kitchens clean.
• Attend colleagues meetings, report issues, and support out-of-hours team; may use master key.
• Wear protective clothing and follow health and safety procedures.
