Job summary

MCR Property Group Ltd is seeking reliable Cleaners for our Sunderland sites. This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and responsibilities across residential properties to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, waste disposal, stock control, and reporting safety or maintenance issues. Applicants should have proven cleaning experience, strong communication, and a commitment to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cleaner or similar role.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and machines such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet cleaners.
• Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the designated areas to a high standard, including site offices, toilets, corridors, and communal areas.
• Carry out cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and polishing.
• Emptying bins and removing waste to designated areas.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate person.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from clients.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure all work is completed within the agreed timeframes.
