Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Cleaner Supervisor to join our Workplace cleaning team across the North East. You will travel between sites in Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Sunderland and beyond, supervising a small team and ensuring high cleaning standards.

The role is temporary-to-permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work. Weekly pay during temporary phase and monthly pay on permanent contract. Early morning and late afternoon shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential for site visits.
• Experience leading/supervising a small cleaning team.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple sites within the North East to deliver cleaning services.
• Perform cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, recycling, restocking consumables.
• Maintain PPE/uniforms and follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Keep records of tasks, timesheets, materials and equipment; report vehicle defects.
• Supervise a small team of cleaners and allocate tasks effectively.

Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Cleaner Supervisor to join our Workplace cleaning team based across the North East area. The role involves travelling between multiple designated sites to deliver consistently high standards of cleaning, with regular journeys to sites located in Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Sunderland and as far down as Scarborough.

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Mobile Cleaners are provided with a company vehicle, an EV charge card, and a company mobile phone. These resources support efficient travel management, real-time communication, and access to schedules, instructions, and reporting systems.

In addition to cleaning, this role is a supervisory position supervising a small team of cleaners. You will be delegating tasks, monitoring cleaning standards, managing stock levels, etc.

We are offering a temporary-to-permanent roleof 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, but flexibility is key, with the potential requirement to work odd weekends when operational demands arise.Whilst working on the temporary contract, this role comes with weekly pay. Once a Permanent contract is on offer, it will then go to monthly pay.

Working hours may include early morning and late afternoon shifts to ensure cleaning duties are completed at appropriate times for each site.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Travel is an essential part of the role, so you will need to be reliable, flexible, and capable of working independently.
• To travel to various building locations within your region to deliver high-level cleaning services, including:
• Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Vacuuming, Recycling, Replenishing Consumables, Buffing, Scrubber Drier.
• To ensure appropriate PPE/Uniforms are always used during working hours
• Follow Health and Safety procedures at all times
• Ensuring that all visited locations are left in a clean and tidy state.
• Maintenance of records relating to tasks performed, timesheets, materials, vehicles and equipment.
• Maintenance of vehicles and machinery, and reporting vehicle defects.

Key requirements will include:

• UK Manual Driver's licence ** essential
• Strong Verbal & Written communication skills
• The ability to work as an individual and be able to demonstrate initiative
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures, including the knowledge of the use of chemicals (COSHH)
• To have experience cleaning in different environments such as offices, warehouses, and retail.
• Experience in a team leading/supervisory position.
• Excellent customer liaison skills, together with a commitment to customer service.
• Punctuality is essential, as Mobile Cleaners must arrive promptly for each scheduled assignment.
