Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a residential children’s care home in Malvern, Worcestershire to recruit a committed Support Worker. You will provide person-centred support, help with daily living and personal care, and build trusting relationships with the individuals you support.

The role is full time, 36–48 hours per week, on days and nights, with a salary of £27,144–£36,192 per annum paid monthly.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
• Experience in complex care or residential settings is desirable.
• Strong communication and empathy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home
• Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy
• Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice
• Support with behaviours that may challenge, following agreed care plans and positive behaviour support approaches
• Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures to ensure safe, consistent care
