Job summary

Career Makers Inc. is seeking a Residential Childrens Home Team Leader in Salford to support the Registered/Deputy Managers in running the home and leading staff to deliver high-quality care for children and young people.

You will lead shifts, supervise staff, ensure care plans are followed, and act as a positive role model while promoting safeguarding and high standards of care. The role includes sleep-in shifts and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum of 12 months' supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 12 months' experience in residential childcare supporting young people with challenging behaviour or complex needs.
• Good communication, organisational and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant children's legislation.
• Confidence using electronic care recording systems. Clearcare experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Pay: £14.21 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, including sleep-in shifts

About the Role

We are looking for a caring, motivated and experienced Residential Children's Home Team Leader to join our team in Salford.

You will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, leading staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can develop, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.
