Job summary

First for Support in Newbury is seeking compassionate Children's and Young People's Support Workers to join our temporary staffing team, providing care to children in residential homes. You will support daily routines, education and emotional wellbeing, following care plans and safeguarding procedures, with shifts including days, nights, sleep-ins, weekends and long days.

We offer weekly pay, flexible shifts and the opportunity to gain valuable experience across care settings; sponsorship is not

Support Worker - Children's Home
Location: Newbury
Hourly rate: National Living Wage, with rates of up to £13.15 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Temporary, Agency Work
Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts available, including days, nights, sleep-ins, weekends and long days.

About the Role:

At First for Support, we're looking for compassionate and reliable Children's and Young People's Support Workers to join our growing team, providing temporary staffing to children's homes in and around Newbury.

As a Support Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting children and young people in residential care settings. You will help provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment, build positive relationships and support young people with their daily routines, activities, education and emotional wellbeing. No two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference while enjoying the flexibility that temporary work offers.

Your Responsibilities:
