Location: Auchterarder, Perthshire

Are you a compassionate, resilient care professional dedicated to making a lasting impact on young lives? A unique opportunity has arisen with a renowned specialist educational residential service set within a stunning multi-acre campus in Perthshire. Working within a nurturing, therapeutic framework inspired by holistic care principles, this setting offers year-round stability and dedicated support for children and young people aged 8 to 18 with complex additional support needs.

If you are looking for a highly rewarding permanent position that offers exceptional time off, comprehensive qualification sponsorship, and a vibrant community-focused environment, this role provides the ideal platform for your professional development.

What's in it for you?
  • Exceptional Shift Pattern & Annual Leave: Enjoy generous time off with a structured 2-week rolling rota (working 4 days in Week 1, and 3 days in Week 2) alongside 7 weeks of pro-rata holiday allowance.

  • Funded Qualifications & Professional Growth: Full funding and guidance provided to achieve your SVQ Level 3 and relevant social care qualifications if you do not already hold them.

  • Enhanced Financial Perks: Competitive base pay supplemented by contractual sleepovers at £65 per shift, enhanced sick pay, enhanced maternity leave, and a workplace pension.

  • Lifestyle Benefits: Access to a cycle-to-work scheme, casual dress code, and full occupational training in a supportive team setting.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide high-standard, person-centred care and educational support to young individuals dealing with emotional, social, or behavioural needs, alongside conditions such as autism or ADHD.

  • Establish safe, trusting relationships while setting clear, supportive boundaries for young people.

  • Manage challenging situations and conflict with patience, confidence, and empathy.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across a 52-week residential setting to ensure continuity, structure, and emotional stability.

  • Safeguard child welfare in strict adherence to Scottish social care standards and legislation.

What we need from you
  • Experience: Prior experience supporting young people or adults with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties, or learning disabilities/ADHD/autism.

  • Qualifications: An HNC in Social Care/Social Services or SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent recognised by the SSSC) is desirable. Unqualified candidates with the right values will be fully supported to complete training.

  • Travel & Location: Must hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle and live within an accessible commuting distance to Auchterarder.
